The Barbados Tourism Awards has seen it fit to
bestow it’s highly respected national awards upon only those nominees who have been successful in the fair and transparent selection process.

The tour guide Victor Cooke, (in photo at left) is an avid outdoor enthusiast and naturalist who is keen on sharing Barbados’ natural, cultural, and built heritage. This enthusiasm is evident as he reveals the island’s uniqueness in an “edutainment” style, on Eco Adventures’ various hiking, scenic bus and heritage tours.
Atlantis Submarines Barbados Inc. subcontracts Victor’s tour guiding services for their cruise ship guests’ Natural Wonders of Barbados bus tour.
The Barbados Museum & Historical Society also retains Victor’s guide services for special events, the most recent being the Museum Open Day, May 23rd, when he led 82 persons on the Garrison Historic Area walk.
The Barbados National Trust, benefits from Victor’s guide services, when he leads the popular Hike Barbados 3:30pm version.
Victor has been awarded several times for service excellence by the Princess Cruises Line, and he is now the recipient of the Barbados Tourism Award of Excellence, Attractions & Activities, 2009.
