Vacation Camp Details

Camp's Duration: Weekly sessions, Monday to Friday, 9a.m to 3p.m. Commencing Monday July 2 until Friday July 27, 2012.
                                A Camp Director will be at the camp site at 8:00a.m. and for one hour after camp closes at 3:00p.m.

Camper Age Range: 10 - 13 years old boys and girls

Camp Size: minimum number of campers 20 and maximum is 25. (Early payment means a sure space)

Camp Site: the base is the Barbados National Trust, Wildey House, Wildey (behind Carters General Store, Wildey)
                   
Camp Schedule: campers will be off base at least 4 out of 5 days engaging in pottery craft, environmental awareness/hike,
outdoor survival skills - cooking, safely preparing camp fire, making bird traps, and shelters,  developing public speaking skills, jewelry craft (types suitable for boys and girls). This schedule will be repeated every week in July 2012 as campers develop expertise in the various skills.

Transportation Services: Rainbow Tours operated by Neville Wiltshire and family will be providing the air conditioned coach services to and from base camp. Rainbow Tours has been in the business for over 10 years providing safe and appropriately insured transportation for school students, cruise ship guests, and local groups.

Lunch: campers will be required to provide their own lunch, snacks and drinks.

Dress Code: campers must wear enclosed footwear, and loose fitting comfortable clothing.

Camp Fee: BD$250.00 per camper for one (1) week's duration, payable no later than the first day of camp. This fee includes all materials required, base camp usage, transportation services and facilitator instruction. No refunds will be available once camp has commenced.
